The Superlight Jumper is just what it says on the tin: it’s super light! Imagine a soft warm cloud-like jumper that weighs less than 250g and folds up into a really small bundle: the jumper of your dreams is now here. It is also a seamless top-down design so there’s only the collar finishing and sewing in ends to do once the knitting is done. Worked in one colour or a stripe pattern of your choice, you can personalise it to match your wardrobe or any occasion.

Sizes
XS (S, M, L, XL){2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL}
to fit chest sizes 70 (80, 90, 100, 110){120, 130, 140, 150}cm

Materials

  • 4 (5, 5, 6, 6){7, 8, 8, 9} balls Lang Alpaca Superlight. Work garment in a single colour or stripe pattern of your choice. Note: The size M sample was knitted in 20-row stripes of three colours using C1 – 0066 Raspberry, C2 – 0248 Antique Rose and C3 – 0280 Burgundy; however including the colour changes made the pattern instructions completely unwieldy. If using three colours, you will need: C1 – 2 (3, 3, 3, 3){4, 4, 4, 5} balls, C2 – 2 (2, 2, 2, 3){3, 3, 3, 3} balls and C3 – 1 (1, 2, 2, 2){2, 2, 2, 2} balls
  • 4mm 60-80cm circular needles
  • 3.5mm 60-80cm circular needles for the hem
  • 3.5mm 40cm circular needle for neckband
  • 4mm and 3.5mm needles for preferred method of working small circumferences (dpns or 25cm circular or magic loop or two circulars)
  • 4 stitchmarkers (one contrasting)
  • waste yarn
  • row counter (optional)
  • wool needle for sewing neckband and ends
