Following the simplest of top-down constructions, this circular yoke pullover begins with a provisional cast-on and features radiating spokes of 1/1 cable twists (no cable needle necessary!) throughout the yoke. At the base of the yoke, the body and sleeves are divided for working separately, and single 1/1 cable twists continue to, and are incorporated into, the ribbings at the lower edge and cuffs.

During finishing, short-rows are used to raise the back neck and provide a more comfortable fit as the neckband is worked in a continuation of the mirrored cable twists in the yoke. Because the sweater is worked from the top down, it’s easy to adjust the body and sleeve lengths.

To prevent the hand-dyed yarn from possibly color pooling, alternate one round each from two different skeins of yarn throughout the sweater.
