Imagine tucking away a precious skein of cashmere, anticipating its softness between your hands as you knit this decadent lace. You deserve a delicious little secret… And though a lady should never reveal her secrets, you might let the merest hint peek over your corset. No matter how much of it you chose to show, you’ll want this to be the closest thing to your skin.

This top down chemise is designed to be worn under a corset but can be worn as a flirty summer top as well. Use the most luxurious, soft yarn you can find. Cashmere, silk, or merino are excellent choices. For a gauzy layered look, choose a cobweb type lace weight yarn. For more of a t-shirt style, you can choose something closer to fingering weight. As long as your fabric gets you the stated gauge and still has a nice drape to it, you’ll have a lovely garment.

Minimal Positive Ease. This garment fits closely at the bust, then falls straight down to the hips, giving it a generous waistline. Chose the size closest to your bust measurement. Consider changing needle sizes to change gauge for a closer fit if between sizes.
