This pretty baby blanket is all about color! I used six different colors of DK weight Merino superwash, but it can be made in just one or two colors if you prefer.

The blanket requires only about 760 yds of dk yarn, or about 6 skeins of the suggested yarn, but if you work in 6 colors, as I did, you’ll need 3 skeins each of your two main colors, and 1 skein each of the other 4 colors.

Difficulty Level: Intermediate

Finished Measurements: About 28 x 28 inches

Yarn: Valley Yarns Superwash DK (100% Extra Fine Superwash Merino Wool; 137 yds; 50 g; yarn weight category: 3/Light/DK): 3 balls #Misty Lilac, 3 balls #15 Blue Mist, 1 ball #14 Teal, 1 ball #08 Copper, 1 ball #07 Red, 1 ball #02 Steel Gray.

Crochet Hook: G (4 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions: 8 Locking stitch markers (m), tapestry needle.

Gauge: 9 pattern repeats x 11 rows = About 4 inches in moss stitch. To make a gauge swatch, ch 20 and follow instructions for Center Panel, working a total of 11 rows.
