This is an antique pattern using vintage terms. It uses chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet. It also includes fringe. The pattern first appeared in Peterson’s Magazine, vol. 35-36, 1859, July, p. 65.

It suggests using a lace weight Merino yarn and a hook appropriate to the size of the yarn.
