Lace and cables, in an intriguing asymmetrical design. The pattern explains exactly how to place the cables for this unusual effect.

The knitter may choose from 6 interchangeable cable patterns, worked from charts or written instructions.

The socks are worked from the toe up, beginning with a narrow panel at the tip of the toes, from which stitches are picked up to work in the round, with increases to shape the toe. The sole and heel are worked in reverse stockinette so that the smooth side of the knitting is against the foot. The afterthought heel is worked inside-out.
