The Totally Batty socks are the best Halloween accessory! Knit from the cuff down, the Totally Batty socks feature a colony of swooping bats knit in stranded colourwork (with eyes duplicate stitched on when the knitting is done). One sock is striped according to the latest witchy trends and the other is knit in the main colour for a perfectly mismatched pair. Of course, if you’re not a fan of fraternal socks you can also go for two striping socks or two solid socks. Or go totally batty and add more bats!

This pattern is worked in the round from the cuff down. The socks have a heel flap and gusset construction. The pattern consists of several components so you can knit your perfect pair of socks. Knitters can choose to go for a fraternal pair, a striping pair or a solid pair.
