Designed for my book, No Sheep For You (now out of print), this pattern starts at the bottom point of the shawl, and rapidly increases outwards at the edges to give you lots of luscious silk to wrap around yourself.

It was designed to be a great first lace shawl project, and can be made as written or even larger. Since you start at the bottom and work up, you can stop whenever you wish. This shawl grows wide quickly, so it avoids the sharp point at the bottom that might draw one’s eye directly to your posterior. A very flattering shape.
