This scarf, made with two lace stitches, is both fun to make and knits up fairly quickly. If you look carefully, you’ll recognize that the scarf is really knit using an edging from the White Lace Knitting Era that is duplicated on both sides, and connected in the center with several stockinette stitches. It makes a very pretty, and very unusual scarf that is still warm. The one in the sample is made with two strands of Helen’s Lace (Lorna’s Laces) held together, and knit on a size #6 knitting needle.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a knowledge of knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing and yo’s.)
