Inspired by the cold Canadian winter and contemporary Japanese haramaki, this garment is designed to be both practical and fashionable.

This haramaki is designed with ribbed side panels so that it is very stretchy. You can wear it on top of close-fitting clothing, or underneath looser garments. It can be worn around the hips or high on the waist.

This garment is knit in one piece and uses intarsia for the ume (plum) blossom motifs.
