Do you crochet while streaming your favorite Star Trek episodes or movies on a regular basis? Do you wish you could add to your geeky crochet pattern collection? Well, if you answered yes to either of those questions, this is pattern for you!

Show your Trekkie pride and crochet an Enterprise applique! It’s a fun and relatively quick project (I made mine over a few evenings of sitting on the couch and watching something spacey). Directions call for making your ship in thread and a size 1.5 mm hook, but the pattern can be easily sized up with a heavier weight yarn and corresponding hook. In fact, right now I am making an Enterprise in DK weight yarn.

I guarantee that once you’ve made yourself an Enterprise and sewed it onto something, you’ll have trouble putting down your hook. Eventually, everything in your home will have a star ship stuck to it! Okay, I’m exaggerating, but this is a fun pattern and the applique would look great adorning a jacket, pillow, tote bag or blanket. Definitely a conversation starter to be sure.
