Valentine’s Day is bittersweet for me. There is pain associated with this holiday, but mixed with joy. It’s why I designed this Valentine Kisses Potholder with the rose. It’s beautiful, but it does have thorns.
Maybe you have the same mixed feelings about this day. Do you choose to focus on the heartache? Or the beautiful memories?
You can read more about my bittersweet romantic story on The Knitting Coach Blog.
Make this Valentine Kisses potholder to remind yourself of the love that you can give and that you have received. Pass it on to an important person in your life to let them feel your love. If you’re unfamiliar with double knitting, this small potholder is a great way to learn this knitting technique. Both sides are the same, except with reversed colors. You’ll get the accomplishment of finishing a beautiful project and the confidence of adding a new skill to your knitting basket.
With this instantly downloadable PDF pattern, you’ll have all the help you need to get started!
This pattern includes written instructions, a chart, and links to video tutorials for the invisible cast on, invisible bind off, slip stitch edging, and I-cord loop. You’ll end up with a professional looking finished project that you’ll be proud to give as a gift or keep and put on display.
