If you love knitting cables, you’ll enjoy this shawl made using worsted weight yarn, guaranteeing that you’ll be warm. The patch pockets ensure that the shawl will stay put on your shoulders.

There are two cables contained within this pattern. One is a most unusual geometric cable, and the other is the honeycomb cable, that is a famous old Aran cable. The two blend together beautifully.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).

Both stitches are charted only. (Note: There are two charts contained in this pattern, one in color, for those people that find that easier to use, and the same stitch using a conventional black and white chart.)

This shawl was perfectly tested by Tina Rawls who can be reached at: trawls65@hotmail.com. The yarn used in the sample is Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Wosted , which is no longer available. Fleece Artist’s Organic Chinook would be a good substitute.

The pattern is for sale, here on Ravelry and in my Etsy Shop in the Warm Pocket Shawl Section (https://www.etsy.com/shop/WearableArtEmporium?section_id=...
