This design was created to showcase the beauty of Miss Babs dye style Babette: the gorgeous tonal variations add depth and visual interest. I used Yummy 2-ply in 5 different colors.

Needles
Size US 4/3.5 mm: 32”/80 cm circular and set of double-pointed needles.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge
24 stitches and 38 rows = 4”/10 cm in Stockinette stitch on US 4/3.5 mm needle.
24 stitches and 48 rows = 4”/10 cm in Garter stitch on US 4/3.5 mm needle.

Notes
• Upper back is worked back and forth, starting at the shoulder line. Shoulders are shaped using short- rows. After upper back completion, stitches for each front are picked up from the cast-on row and worked to underarms with neck shaping. Front and back are joined at the underarm level and the lower body is worked in the round to the lower edge. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes and sleeves are worked in the round from the top down.
