Winter Blues, #2697. Our Victorian miss is sitting by her window and feeling sad and blue because the weather is too cold for her to play outside. Crochet pattern leaflet includes instructions to make the dress with attached petticoat, hair bow and shoes/socks made from worsted weight yarn, Luster Sheen, perle cotton (or substitute #10 thread). Fits 18” American Girl Dolls, Springfield Dolls, Goetz Dolls and similar sized dolls.

MATERIALS NEEDED
Sizes G and D crochet hooks and size 7 steel hook or sizes
needed for gauge; five #3 snaps; 2 white ribbon roses; two
1/4” white buttons; bobby pins; J. & P. Coats Luster
Sheen, art. A95--14 oz. white, 10 oz. blue; 9.5 oz.
worsted weight denim blue ragg yarn; 95 yds. white #5
perle cotton. Note: You may substitute #10 cotton thread
for perle cotton as long as correct gauge is obtained. If you
cannot find ragg worsted weight, try holding one strand of
blue #10 thread with 1 strand of a thinner white worsted
weight yarn (such as Caron’s Simply Soft) for a similar
tweed effect. Sport weight or baby yarn may be
substituted for Luster Sheen.
