Check out this all size Unisex hat pattern; it is shaped on top and not gathered like most, so there is not all that extra bulk. Also looks like rib knit and is nice & stretchy. Looks good with or without a pompom. Fun to make.

The easiest felting project on a circular needle. Quick, too.

This is the easiest and smartest looking felted bag I have ever made. Just cast on 48 or 56 with your big needles, then go round and round in a simple rib design. Sew the bottom then felt minimally. Add any handles and you are READY TO ROVE.
