When this yarn was sold under the name of “J&P Coats Luster Sheen Article A96”, there were 3 balls per bag of 150 yards each, or 450 yards/bag. WPI 18-19. : 3x2-plied strands; loose Z-twist.

J&P Coats now sells the yarn under the Red Heart label as “Luster Sheen” E721 at 3 skeins per bag of 335 yards each, or 1,005 yards/bag. The new yarn weight is listed as “sport”, which is considerably heavier.

Machine wash gentle cycle, warm water, no bleach, rinse well and promptly remove. Roll in a towel. Block. CAUTION: Do not iron or dry clean.
