I’m LynnH, or Lynn DT Hershberger of Lansing, Michigan, USA. Color is my primary artistic medium. Knitting is how I express it most often.

Knitting is my primary business. I taught at the Sock Summit 2011 in Portland Oregon, and have taught in Dallas, Boston, Chicago, and many locations in Michigan.

My article on Turkish Socks was published in Piecework magazine in December, 2017. My Sunberry Socklet and Crystal socklet were published in Knitty.com in March 2013 and March 2012, respectively. My Hot Waves sock was included in Lark Books’ Joy of Sox. I’ve also had designs included in Knit Circus, Craft Sanity, and Heels and Toes Gazette Magazines. However, most of my designs I have self-published.

My biggest knitting accomplishment to date was a knitted self-portrait in July of 2006. It included 11 colors of yarn in a sort of folk-intarsia. There were 10,374 stitches.
