Shannon Okey

I’m a designer, and the author, co-author or editor of more than a dozen books, including The Knitgrrl Guide to Professional Knitwear Design, as well as the founder of knit publishing company Cooperative Press.

I am also the former editor of UK-based Yarn Forward magazine, previously wrote columns for knit.1 and Knitting Today! magazines, and have contributed to many others since I went full time in the knitting/publishing industry in 2004.
