This is a pattern for a small stuffed toy. It is the perfect friend for your pocket or to hold in your hand.

Size may be easily adjusted by increasing yarn weight and needles size. The pattern includes a simple embroidery picture guide and a link to a bunnymuff tutorial for the disappearing loop cast-on!

Chi Chi the Panda is worked mainly in the round and has little sewing over the legs, body, and arms. The arms are worked and set aside, then the legs are worked and then connected to work the body (in the round). The arms are then knit together with the body (if you would rather attach later by sewing see blue box below). Once the body is bound off, the head and ears are worked.
Finally, the eyes and nose are embroidered (see guide), ends are woven in, pieces sewn together, and you are done!

DK weight - 12.5 sts and 13 rows = 2in/5cm over stockinette on 2.75mm needles
Worsted/Aran weight - 10 sts and 12 rows = 2in/5cm over stockinette on 3.25mm needles
