#10 Helmet Hat
To construct her cabled helmet, knit in Alpaca With a Twist’s “Highlander,” Deborah Newton worked the oval cables that form the earflaps in a single strip with the cabled band. From there, stitches for the crown are picked up, worked in a trio of separate panels, then sewn together in finishing.
