#187 Vivienne Shawlette
Gauge: Approx 10 sts and 22 rows = 3” 7.5 cm in Garter st (blocked).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Even though the name of the yarn says “Worsted,” I consider Malabrigo Worsted more of a Aran, almost bulky weight. Please keep this in mind if choosing a different yarn for this.
Just like its name, this shawlette is vibrant and bold, making it a fabulous accessory to liven up your outfit on any cloudy or wintery day.
An Aran weight yarn in a vibrant color, knit up on big needles, creates definite stitch impact! The naturally waved edge created by the lace stitch pattern is finished off with a few rows of Garter stitch to further accentuate its loveliness.
A gently shaped, long crescent shape is created with clever short rows and allows this to be easily worn as a scarf or shawl.
A versatile design that has lots of personality to complement its wearer!
