Inspired by traditional Japanese tabi socks worn with sandals, Kerstin Usher’s split-toe socks are worked from the single-rib cuff. Tabi
colorway #4, a bright bouquet of citrus and violet, is knitted at a dense gauge for strength and structure. Similar to a thumb gusset, the big toe is picked up and knit after the toe cap is completed.
