Acanthus
Acanthus is an over sized tee with lace trim along the bottom of the front and lace up the back. It is worked from the bottom up with picked up sleeves, the only seaming is at the shoulders.
Great for the Spring weather that has finally arrived here in Maine and for the soon to be air conditioned offices:)

Shown with 7 “ of positive ease. Designed to be worn with 5-9” of positive ease.
Materials:
Plucky Feet by The Plucky Knitter (90% merino, 10% nylon; 115 gram skeins = approx 425 yards)
• 3 (3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4) skeins Flannel
• Approx yards: 940 (1020, 1100, 1190, 1290, 1390, 1475, 1560, 1650)
Needles
• One 29” circular (circ) needle size US 4 (3.5 mm).
• One set of double pointed needles (dpns) size US 4 (3.5 mm).
Or size to obtain gauge.
Notions
• Stitch markers (m)
• Large stitch holders or waste yarn
Gauge: 24 sts and 30 rows = 4” in Stockinette Stitch (St st).
