I like to fool around and do tests with leftover yarn, and sometimes the leftovers turn out to be enough to make something for real out of it like this project bag.
The project bag is a stranded color work knit and a fast little knitting project, I finished it in a few evenings.

Yarn used:
I have used 40 grams, which is 80/90 meters or 87/98 yds of Madelinetosh Tosh Sport
You can off course use another sport weight yarn to test.
The Tosh sport is a superwash yarn, which will act different then a non superwash yarn, but both types are ok to use.

Needles used:
3.75 mm circular with magic loop or 5 DPN 3.75 mm
plus a Tapestry needle and 1 stitch marker

Gauge:
colorwork stockinette 25 stitches x 28 rows

Finishes dimensions:
± 34 cm round x 22 cm heigh
