Advent is the period of four Sundays and weeks before Christmas – 28 days. This year it begins on November 27, 2016. On this day you will crochet the start of a lovely, lacy scarf. Each day thereafter, a new stitch pattern will be introduced and added to the previous one. By December 24th, you will have completed your Advent Scarf. Be sure to download and read thoroughly the TUTORIAL so you will be prepared to crochet the scarf as designed. This is NOT a mystery CAL – photos are included with each stitch pattern.

Stitch Markers

GAUGE:
One row of 49 sc = approx. 10”
Gauge is not really relevant.

SIZE OF SCARF:
Without Border (unblocked) – 10” X 78.5”
With Border (after blocking) -11.5” X 80”

Please note that if you choose to use anything other than the suggested weight yarn, your final dimensions will vary. This scarf was designed with DK weight yarn.
