I designed this lace cowl for a teen but it fits adults as well. One 100 g ball of sock weight yarn yields the cowl and fingerless mitts or small gloves.
The pattern includes a written section and charted lace patterns.

Aran weight version - Dec 11, 2012
After publishing the fingering weight pattern I converted the pattern for aran weight yarn using Colinette Art (in the second photo). I cast on 70 sts and used needles size 6mm . The fold is 3 cm / 1 1/4 in high. In binding off I made one chain stitch in between every stitch and a chain of four for the outer corners.
Versio paksummalle langalle - 11.12.2012
Versioin alkuperäisestä ohjeesta paksumman kaulurin worsted-paksuisena, lankana Colinette Art (ks. toinen kuva). Loin 70 s aloituksessa puikoilla 6. Reunan taite on 3 cm korkea. Päättelykerroksessa tein jokaisen silmukan jälkeen ylimääräisen ketjusilmukan ja reunan ulokkeissa 4 kjs.
