Alentejana sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. The inspiration of Alentejana is the exquisite century-long traditional blankets from Alentejo, southern of Portugal! The yoke is worked in the round with a combination of stranded colorwork and a textured and colorful pattern over a Stockinette Stitch background. It is an oversized and comfy sweater, with a slightly cropped length. You can make Alentejana sweater longer or even cropped by adding or subtracting rounds at the body. In this case the yardage will be modified.
