The Alex Beanie has an interesting texture with wavy faux knit cables, and the flip up brim makes it comfortable, stylish, and warm. The fabric created makes this hat very warm, the perfect accessory for cold fall and winter days and nights.

Difficulty: Intermediate due to the amount of different stitches used.

Size

Adult Small (20-22 inches)

Gauge

9 hdc and 3 rows = 2 inches

Materials

• Size G (4.00mm) crochet hook or size needed for correct gauge
• Scissors
• Darning needle
• Medium 4 worsted weight yarn (approximately 170 grams for the hat only) Recommended yarns: KT And The Squid worsted (2 skeins) Red Heart Soft (2 skeins) Lion Brand Heartland (2 skeins) Caron Simply Soft solids (1 skein) Impeccable (2 skeins)
• Optional: Faux fur pom pom or yarn pom pom Stitch marker
