Apollo
Apollo socks are classic ribbed socks with twisting columns that remind me of laurel wreaths – the symbol of the ancient Greek and Roman god Apollo. The simple mock cable pattern is surprisingly easy and suitable even for beginners. The socks also have a beautifully detailed Eye of the Partridge Stitch heel flap and a round French heel. While the socks were originally designed for a three-color sock kit from Gregoria Fibres, you can just as well knit the socks in just one color or add a pop of color to the cuff, heel and toes with leftover sock yarn in a contrasting color.
