Apollonius Yoked Sweater
Is there such a thing as a Perfect Body? I don’t think so.
I started designing my own sweaters after the birth of my daughter. It began when I left the hospital in the same maternity pants I wore on the way in: disillusioned, bleary eyed, and still hanging on to most of the 70 lbs I gained (thank you Carls Jr and Insatiable Morning-All-Day Sickness). And to top it off I had no sleep, stretch marks, love handles, and a lumpy belly. Once I got home and things began to move toward normal I wanted to knit myself sweaters that fit after those endless months of frumpy, dumpy, mumu-engineered day wear. So I got out my pencil and paper, some sport weight yarn for the most flattering drape and designed this sweater.
Plans for knitting the Perfect Sweater
-
This cleverly written pattern with
drawings, charts and clear
instructions on how to make your own
Apollonius Yoked sweater won’t melt
those pounds or make your baby sleep
through the night but they will help
you make a sweater that fits your
shape. -
The simple waist shaping and 2 inches of ease help hide the problem areas on my post partum body and will yours too.
-
Neck shaping is added for comfortable wear when your days are filled with poopy diapers and your nights with bleary eyed baby feeding sessions.
-
The Apollonius Sweater is knit from the bottom up and seamlessly so you can devote your brain cells to the endless cycles of sleep, poop and round the clock feedings. And sometimes to the baby too.
While knitting this sweater won’t help you get rid of those love handles or Fast Food binge related tummy problems, it will help cover them.
And those who have the perfect body? This sweater will look good on you too. Hold the fries.
