Appalachian Scarf
This is an excellent pattern for a man’s scarf, but it can certainly be made for any gender or age. It has a unique look with the striping and trinity stitch. It is certainly manageable by a beginner, but the trinity stitch does require some concentration until you get the hang of it. Pattern is worked in rows widthwise and the border is worked perpendicular to scarf body. Size adjustments can be made easily and guidance is provided in the pattern.
The yarn provides a comforting tweed and solid stripe look that will match many sweaters and jackets from fall to spring. Pair it with the Appalachian Toque for a complete look.
