Avery Blanket
This fun blanket consists of garter stitch sections with easy short row shaping to create sloping lines. The stocking stitch stripes have a simple stranded colourwork detail.
There are two style options: a 5-colour blanket with stripes worked in 4 contrasting colours or a 13-colour blanket with stripes worked in 12 contrasting colours.
The centre section begins with a provisional cast-on so that the borders all finish in the same way.
The borders begin with a contrasting 2-row stripe and continue in garter stitch with mitred corners for a neat finish.
This baby blanket is suitable for intermediate knitters.
