I originally designed this shawl for the 2016 Chicago Yarn Crawl. It is very easy lace using primarily double crochets.

There was a question brought up by a crocheter about the beginning of the odd rows. The chain three counts as the first double crochet and the next double crochet is in the next double crochet. I added this clarification on the new pdf file. I you picked the pattern up at the crawl you might not have this correction.
