This hat is crocheted from the bottom up. The bottom ribbing is worked going back and forth in short rows. The next portion featuring the basketweave pattern is worked in the round. When the basketweave section is complete, the upper portion is then worked back and forth as it was for the bottom ribbing. This pattern is sized for a child and adult.
