Step outside the box and make a statement with this modern and chic asymmetrical cardigan.

It features a subtle but beautiful eyelet stitch pattern on one of the fronts (also repeated on one sleeve), interesting ribbing details on the second front, and gentle waist and hip shaping.

Worked top-down in raglan construction – of course seamless, as always, this soft cardigan can be worn over jeans or a dress, making it perfect for any season.

“Be Open Minded” was designed in collaboration with Malabrigo Yarns.

Materials:

  • Malabrigo Arroyo (100% Merino): 100g/ 335 yards [306 meters] – 4 (4, 4, [5, 5, 5], 5, 6, 6) skeins or approx. 1100 (1180, 1260, [1340, 1420, 1510], 1600, 1700, 1800) yards 1005 (1080, 1150, [1225, 1300, 1380], 1460, 1555, 1645) meters of sport weight yarn that knits up to gauge. The sample is made in English Rose colorway.
  • US 4 – 3.5 mm 24” [60 cm] & 40” [100 cm] circular needles or DPNs
  • US 6 – 4 mm 24” [60 cm] & 40” [100 cm] circular needles or DPNs
  • 4 stitch markers

These photos were taken at a train cemetery hosting trains that no longer run so no trains were in motion at any time of the session. No model or carriage was hurt during the photo shoot. :)
