The Beautifully Basic Henley is just that - beautiful and basic. A classic top-down raglan design, there are minimal design elements, making it the perfect sweater for beginner knitters or the ideal tabula rasa for budding designers. Knit it as written for a classic silhouette and easy-to-follow design, or add in your own details to individualize it - a different ribbing, a cable in between the raglan increases… the possibilities are endless!

Finished measurements: 32 (36.5, 40.5, 44.25, 48) 52.5, 56.5, 60.25, 64”/ 80 (91.5, 101, 110.5, 120) 131.5, 141, 150.5, 160cm.

To be worn with 4 - 6”/ 10 - 15 cm of positive ease.

Needles: US 5/ 3.75mm or size to obtain gauge, in circulars ranging from 16”/ 40cm to 32”/ 80cm plus DPNs or short circulars for sleeves; US 4/ 3.5mm or 1 size smaller than gauge needle, in 24 - 32”/ 60 - 80cm circular for bottom rib and DPNs or short circulars for sleeve cuffs.

Gauge: 21 sts and 28 rows = 4”/ 10cm in Stockinette stitch.

Yarn: dk weight: 1000 (1125, 1250, 1375, 1500) 1675, 1830, 2015, 2200 yards/ 914 (1029, 1143, 1257,1371) 1531, 1673, 1842, 2011 meters.
