Imagining the world of beetles transformed into a juicy sweater, Beetlejuicy serves minimal yet chic realness with a stranded colorwork yoke.

Each beetle motif captures the iridescent shimmer of beetle exoskeletons, while the bold, contrasting colors represent the diversity of these fascinating creatures against a rich, solid main color. Half-twisted ribbed edges trim the neck, hem, and cuffs with a purl ridge, giving a neat finish to this gender-neutral pullover.

Beetlejuicy also evokes a sense of fun with a nod to the iconic character Beetlejuice. Like the character, this design brings a whimsical twist — combining quirky, detailed beetle patterns with playful energy, making it a standout piece.

NOTES
Beetlejuicy is a top-down circular yoke pullover that begins at the neck with a half-twisted rib.

After shaping the neck, colorwork featuring various beetle motifs begins, with increases incorporated.

The work is then divided into three sections: the body and two sleeves. The body continues in Stockinette stitch, with additional stitches added for the underarm, until reaching the hem. The sleeves also follow in Stockinette stitch, with decreases leading to the cuffs. Both the cuffs and hem are worked in half-twisted rib and finished with an Italian tubular bind-off.
