Black Hole Sun is an half-pi shawl knitted with several eyelet and lace patterns. The shawl is knitted from top down with simple yarn over increases and has two different lace border patterns. The size is easy to adapt by legthening or shortening the last lace pattern. I used a cheap self-striping yarn, but the shawl works great also in solid colored yarns.

Black Hole Sun è un semplice scialle semicircolare con costruzione half-pi top down. Nello scialle ho usato vari motivi a foretti e a pizzo. Gli aumenti distribuiti in pochi ferri separano le diverse sezioni del lavoro. Lo scialle è completato con due diverso bordi a pizzo. È facile adattare le misure dello scialle lavorando l’ultimo motivo più o meno a lungo. Il filato usato originariamente è sfumato, ma lo scialle è adatto anche a filati a tinta unita.
