Blackwork Drunkard's Path Afghan
NEW RELEASE: The Blackwork Drunkard’s Path Afghan pattern is 30% off now through 1/25/26 MT! No code needed!
What happens when you combine the style of blackwork embroidery and the curves of a drunkard’s path quilt square with interlocking filet crochet … you get the Blackwork Drunkard’s Path afghan!
Since two contrasting colors are used to create the designs on the different “quilt blocks”, a YouTube tutorial is also included to explain changing colors on a diagonal or curve, with a review of changing colors in a straight line.
This pattern provides both row-by-row written instructions as well as design charts for reference. Since this project contains many diagonals to create the design, it is recommended for someone who is comfortable with the interlocking filet mesh technique. If you haven’t tried diagonals on an interlocking filet mesh project yet, you can learn how on my YouTube Channel! You can also read about it on my blog!
