Description Knit a popular quilting motif into a blanket using mosaic garter stitch! This maple leaf motif is charted in four different orientations for your custom layout. One orientation is fully written out. Use only one orientation throughout or you may customize your layout (there are 5 suggested layouts included). Just one strand of color works every two rows while the other strand rests at the edge. Simple repeats allow you to customize the blanket size. Gauge and dimensions are provided with a DK weight wool. Choose colors that contrast well. Try your camera’s “black & white” setting to look at your yarns in grayscale and check the contrast between your selection(s). The pattern provides positive and negative charts for making a useful blanket and gift!
