One of my all-time favorite sayings, and one that I remind myself of often, is “bloom where you are planted.” As I designed and worked on Bloom, my world was snowy and cold. But the finished shawl filled me with joy when I was finally able to photograph it on a beautiful sunny day. It felt like a rebirth of hope, and even though I know there are cold days ahead, there is also sun and glorious color.

This shawl is a mashup designed to incorporate elements of the three previous 2022 Lace Lovers Club shawls. I hope you love it!
