Bobble Cocoon Shrug
A free version is also available.
Available free in one size only (2T) on my linked blog.
The bobble stitch is a favorite of mine so I decided to incorporate it into a cocoon shrug for my little one. I used Caron Simply Soft in contrasting colors for the main body and edging.
The body is worked as a rectangle with an alternating bobble and mesh crochet pattern. The sleeve and body edging is added on in rounds.
The pattern is written for children’s sizes 2T-16.
Mesh pattern- 3” x 3” = (7 dc & 6 ch sp) x 6 rows
Materials:
5mm H(8) Hook, or hook need to achieve gauge
2 contrasting colors of Caron Simply Soft or comparable #4 medium worsted weight yarn.
Size
2-6: 2 skeins (630 yds)
8-10: 3 skeins (945 yds)
12-16: 4 skeins (1260 yds)
