Make a beautiful crochet trivet/Pot Holder. Perfect for hot pots and pans or hot plates and bowls.This pattern creates a trivet that will be bursting with color and character. Using 100% cotton or wool is ideal for this type of project. This trivet is double sided for a plain or color look. Ideally, potholders should be double sided for a higher quality product.
**For any item that will come into contact with extreme heat or cold temperatures, use cotton or wool yarn. Acrylic yarn will melt under extreme heat and will not absorb as well as cotton or wool.**
This pattern will create a gorgeous 7-8 inch crochet Hexagonal or Square Trivet/Potholder pending on hook and yarn size used. Recommended yarn and hook size is mentioned below in materials. Please read below. Pattern includes clear instructions, links and pictures to guide you while you make these fun potholders.
