DESCRIPTION
This fall cardigan was inspired and designed by my hubby’s and my mind, and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Since we are both book lovers, we wanted to call it the “Book Bound Cardigan” – a subtle nod to Todd’s love for the Public Library.
Knit top down (raglan style) and with the double brimmed collar knit at the same time, this cardi has 1.5-3.5” of positive ease designed in. This construction is particularly unique because the double brim collar is made first and used as a base for the raglan yoke. By knitting it this way, you can do the entire piece in one go without having to finish the sweater and then have the tedious task of picking up stitches to do the collar at the end. It’s already done while you’re knitting the yoke and body sections.
This pattern is written in 9 sizes – XS (S, M, L, XL) (2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL). It is suggested that you highlight your size, so you know which stitch count to follow. The model pictured is wearing the size M and is 5’10”, and has a chest circumference of 38”.
