You can’t spell autumn without – well, nvm. My point is, autumn would be boring without this gorgeous, bulbous fruit in our pastries, on our stoops and decorating our mantles.

The beauty of this pumpkin pattern, besides being so cute, is that its totally customizable.

There’s almost no wrong way to make these little guys! The possibilities are practically endless.

For example, you can:

• Cast on any number of stitches you want.
• Knit as many rows as you’d like.
• Use any weight of yarn or base you fancy.
• Flip the tube inside out for a purled pumpkin.
• Use up your scraps.
• Marled pumpkins!

In this pattern, I’ve suggested a stitch count to go with chunky/bulky weight yarn, but don’t let that stop you from experimenting with your stash!
