Briochewings Cardigan
Level skill – intermediate.
You need to know: brk, brp, sl1yo, k, p, brkyobrk, br4stinc, br4stdec, kfb and other simple sts.
Brioche knitting is a simple multicolor technique where you can mix your favourite colors and yarns - to be unique and playful!
Two-color brioche is reversible and results in like two different jumpers - You can wear both sides.
Each counted row is worked twice, the first or the main color is worked around once (I have black) and then remember that you do not turn, just slide the stitches and doing the same row – worked again using the contrast color (I used white) in other words - second color. When you put down your knitting and forget which color you just used and which color to use next, look at the color of the yo (yarn over) in the round just worked. That is the last color you used.
I suggest that you practice this pattern first doing a swatch.
Surely follow gauge. I’m a tight tension knitter
