This is the pattern accompanying the sock yarn option during the Autumn Equinox installment for Gaia’s Colours Fibre Arts Sacred Sabbats Yarn Club.

The Ceres Celebration Socks are a pair of toe-up socks that use the Cat Bordhi Sidestream sockitecture, mostly purled (reverse stockinette) for a smooth stockinette surface inside the socks for comfortable wear against the skin. The purled background provides a canvas for the motif celebrating the Autumn Equinox and the grain harvest inspiring the colourway. Each sock starts with a purled Turkish cast-on that leads into a whirlpool toe for the toe cap where the charted motif pattern grows from.

A photo tutorial for the purled Turkish cast-on is included.
