ABOUT PATTERN
The Chamonix Balaclava is worked from the bottom up with
3 threads of Kidsilk Mohair held together. You will start your work
with a rib cable cast-on method - English style.
Then, work in 1x1 rib in the round until you reach the face opening.
From here continue back and forth for a few rows, join and work
the top of the balaclava in the round. Finally, decrease to the end.

Adutl size.
Lenght: 36,5 cm
Width: 21 cm

Approx. 40 g of Kidsilk Mohair, from Mayflower (25 g = 195 m)
Scrap yarn.
Circular needles 3,75 mm 60 or 80 mm
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
16 stitches x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm in 1x1 rib, n. 3,75 mm,
with 3 threads of yarn held together.

A PROPOS DU PATRON
La Chamonix Balaclava se travaille du bas vers le haut avec
3 fils de Kidsilk Mohair tenus ensemble. Tu débutera ton ouvrage
par un montage à l’anglaise. Puis, travailler en circulaire en côtes
1/1 jusqu’à l’ouverture visage. A partir d’ici continuer en aller et
retour pour quelques rangs et reprendre en circulaire pour
travailler le haut de la cagoule. Enfin, finir par des rangs de
diminutions.
