This wide crescent shaped shawl has been designed to have a light and pretty body with shaped arches to create rainbow like patterns and a scattering of beads (625 Matsuno Size 6 Seed Beads and 25 Miyuki Size 5 Seed Beads for the points) that appear like raindrops. The edge of the shawl is in open lace with dramatic beaded points.

With a repeatable body pattern you will be able to tailor the size to suit you, however yardage and bead requirements will change accordingly.

The shawl shown was knit as directed in this pattern and was blocked like a demon - a less thuggish blocking treatment will produce a more gentle effect.

This knitting pattern contains full written instructions and is fully charted. All beading is colour coded therefore you will find it useful to print your pattern on a colour printer.
